[Attached in response, first: One (1) image of Palamedes' hand, no longer bandaged, giving a thumbs up. It's still not entirely a healthy color, mostly in bruise-ish splotches clustered closer to the heel of his palm, where he really smashed it into the Katalyth. Even odds some of that is just regular bruising.
But it looks better!

So the physical effects don't transfer between forms. I wonder if that part specifically is due to the Shift - does the transformative element also repair us in the process? I haven't tried at all.

It's also possible that because there was no physical damage, there was nothing to transfer. No repair necessary, then. I haven't sustained any damage to the crystallized appendages yet.

Well, how easy is it to get your hands on a properly insulated container? I'd think this city has that kind of material on hand, but maybe not for us.

No, they didn't. I've come to believe our respective wheelhouses are completely incidental. Perhaps in the next group; we survived, so with that process locked down, why not seek out the types of people they want?

I hope her children are being looked after. Of course they'd separate families from children and not think twice. There are children among us, you know. I met a boy who couldn't have been older than twelve, maybe thirteen. Kidnapping and neck surgery, just the same. I have sympathy for the way the people here have been forced to live, I just can't help but maintain that Patho-Gen have bankrupted their ethics department. This is the kind of operation I'd see razed to the ground under different circumstances.
